Kids and me headed to the legendary @ForbiddenPlanet - when I was 10 years old and on my first trip to London w my folks and my best friend at that time Peter Mishara I came to FP and it made the trip. FP on 11th St. and Broadway was my local store in New York. Excited

The English Dept launched the OLS Book Swap Station to mark Book Week NI. This is open to all of our girls. We are going to keep it running all year round. Thanks to staff who have donated books to get us started. Happy Book Week from the English Dept. @LibrariesNI

3. Between them, our winning students read an IMPRESSIVE 149 books and just shy of 46 thousand pages!
The girls were awarded an Amazon voucher for their amazing efforts.

1. SUMMER READING CHALLENGE WINNERS
This summer marked the 4th year of the OLS Summer Reading Challenge, in which we encouraged the girls to read as much as they could and chronicle all of the books they've read.

Our girls loved the film for its witty dialogue&inspiring female characters💪🏻

November Book of the Month winner is Rose Beatty J1C with her recommendation "Starboard" by Nicola Skinner. Anyone who is a fan of Young Adult / Historical Fiction would enjoy this book from a multi-award winning author. Rose was awarded a £10 voucher for her entry. Happy Reading
