@TheCaanadianLad False analogy. FIFA didn't replay any game or erase results. They suspended one player's ban under existing Article 27 rules after a controversial red card. Your scenario demands nullifying an entire match outcome, which has no equivalent rule or precedent.
One of the dumbest things about the debate over “nationalism” is that the same people who tell you it’s toxic and dangerous in the West will then dance on stage in a nationalistic frenzy over a country so dangerous they can’t even live there.
They don't want people to figure out that if they just get off their arse they can fix their own community in 2 weeks. They want you to keep paying them taxes so they can fix your community for you. In 3 years. Maybe. Probably not.
A Canadian messaged me last week.
He said: I agree with everything you post.
I cannot say any of it at work.
I asked: what would happen if you did?
He said: reported to HR. Investigated. Probably let go.
He lives in Canada.
Not China. Not Russia.
Canada.
So yes.
A Japanese account in Tokyo will keep posting.
Until he can say it himself again.
@Ducnghia16 He was a phenomenal athlete and showman, but there's a big difference between a master technician and a musical collaborator. He never sat deep in the pocket or locked into a groove; everything served his own spotlight rather than lifting the band. Plus, he was a jackass.
People ask me: why does a Japanese account post about British politics?
Because British people are asking me to.
They DM me. They say: we cannot say this here. You can.
They are right.
I have no British employer to fire me.
No British police to arrest me.
No British newspaper to label me for life.
I am just someone watching from outside.
And from outside,
the view is very clear.
Americans in Europe: I love Europe!
Europeans: Of course you do, we’re better in every way. Now go home.
Europeans in America: I love America!
Americans: Awesome! We’re having a BBQ Saturday, you should totally come!!
@GovPressOffice CAL FIRE states 31 million acres are state-protected wildlands. But you're bragging about less than three acres. Not the flex you think it is.
Once again, MAGA’s Manhattan Institute (a think tank masquerading as a news outlet) left out the facts because it doesn’t fit their narrative as right-wing operatives (how they describe themselves):
FACT: Between 2021 and 2024, nearly 2.7 million footprint acres have been treated in the state.
FACT: All of these fast-tracked projects must be done BY 2028 (it’s currently 2026) … meaning no “promise” is broken.
FACT: California is doing MORE than the Feds: The State treated 422,009 footprint acres in 2024 compared to 308,763 footprint acres treated on federal lands.
FACT: The State manages just 3% of forests compared to the Feds 57% within California.
