Importance of Hydration
The following occurs as dehydration affects bodyweight:
2% decrease in body weight = a measurable decrease in performance
3% decrease in body weight = 5% loss in power output
5% decrease in bodyweight = 30% decreased work capacity
HYDRATE!
It may be hot outside, but don’t be in a hurry to turn up the heat in the weight room. Master movements, angles, and positions first. Slow cook ‘em. Trust the process. Enjoy the process.
Don’t confuse activity with improvement. Just because you show up doesn’t mean you are getting better, it just means you gave yourself a shot at average. The intent is what separates people.
