I wouldn’t be where I am today without the love and support that @MichelleObama has poured into me over the years. Her story — from her South Side roots to the White House and beyond — is a central part of the Obama Presidential Center.
Michelle and I can’t wait for you to visit the Obama Presidential Center!
Starting on June 19, the Center will be open to the public, and you’ll be able to check out the Museum along with public spaces like a new branch of the Chicago Public Library with a reading room, a two-acre playground, a fruit and vegetable garden, and more.
Tickets available at https://t.co/ahkDMKalIn.
Yesterday I had the privilege to moderate Zimbabwe’s National Symposium on the Care Economy.
85% of our workers are in the informal sector—yet no sick leave, no maternity protection, no pension.
This Workers’ Day, let’s expedite the process to align with SADC & AU commitments.
The young people in our @ObamaFoundation Leaders program give me hope. One of those leaders, Luisa Neubauer, is working to fight climate change and recently traveled to Antarctica.
This Earth Day, I hope you'll check out her incredible story.
🌍 Happy Earth Day! 🌱
Each day, let’s commit to small, sustainable actions that protects our planet. Protecting our planet doesn’t require perfection—just persistence. Every green choice, every day, makes a difference. 🌿
Together, let’s nurture nature. 💚

Through the @ObamaFoundation Leaders program, Michelle and I are working with the next generation of leaders looking to make a difference in their communities.

Great initiative by #GreatmanMusic. RETWEET and help him reach as many people as possible!
You know what, my people? A retweet costs you nothing. And when you see somebody who is disabled, like Great Man, pushing this initiative, it should shame us who are able-bodied that we are not able to assist those who are disabled.
The least we can do is to RETWEET so that those who have the heart to help can actually support this cause.
So I ask you again, please RETWEET this initiative that Great Man, who is disabled, has started to assist people like him who are disabled.
It costs you nothing at all as a Zimbabwean or an African to simply RETWEET, or as any other nationality.
Final touch-ups for my presentation ahead of the upcoming 2nd Global Artivism Convening here in Salvador, Brazil. Will unpack how solidarity can remain alive in a context where institutions are being dismantled, & support networks & funding are being discontinued.
After completing a course on Human Rights Education by @amnesty, I have started to implement some of the strategies I learnt. To this,I organized a mini pool tournament in a rural community of #Zimbabwe to raise awareness about our national Constitution.

Back in 2006 Guy Goma was mistakenly interviewed by the BBC. He walked into the BBC for a job interview as a data cleanser and ended up being interviewed on BBC News 24 after staff confused him with an IT journalist called Guy Kewney who had been booked to speak on the subject of trademark rights and the music industry. Here is his glorious attempt at winging it while on air.
Constitutionalism is the cornerstone of community development. For this reason, last week I engaged learners and community leaders in rural communities of Zimbabwe. Simplified Constitution handbooks in both Shona and English were distributed.
