@sympractical From the perspective of the digital world the union of human & software/AI/agents might result in what appear to be 'giants'/nephalim.
Hyper-real telos/will/meaning/episteme combined with supercharged substance/strength/medium
@MattRob78281471 For behold, on the stone that I have set before Joshua, on a single stone with seven eyes, I will engrave its inscription, declares the LORD of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of this land in a single day.
- Zechariah 3:9
@SirSmores@Faithproofapolo@sola_chad imo the correct way to harmonize the faith v works debate:
1. Salvation is by grace thru faith & not a result of works
2. Genuine/living faith has fruit/looks like something/takes action (real faith results in works)
"All branches that do not bear fruit will be cut off..."
@JJ_Swatson22@JordanDHeath@PageauJonathan I assume the sword is where the center and the margin meet.
The margin sees the 'edge' of the pattern as a sword that judges & potentially 'cuts it off' if it can't be integrated.
@annielcrawford Well said.
Do you think there will be an ultimate embodiment of that principality & will that be a human?
i.e. whoever/whatever Apollyon enters after receiving a mortal wound -- is that a singular event involving a man or is Rev 13 expressing something more perennial/symbolic?
@annielcrawford Tech is power. Power is neutral
The good: love God & others
Morality hits that telos
Immorality misses
Tech is immoral insofar as a bad telos will be achieved when used; it's infused w/ bad intention
Ex:
war drone is neutral
war drone w/ AI that will kill all ppl is immoral
@TheSportsBL @Manny_Ribera__ @Oilfield_Rando Imagine if there was a specific brand of bed that accounted for less than 6% of marketshare but over 66% of the deaths.

@DanielvsBabylon Not defending pretrib rapture.
Yes, prepare for trib & death.
Although it's difficult to read those verses and not think that some may escape the 1st death at the 2nd coming.
@LogosSavedMe@DanielvsBabylon The context of this post isn't the rapture. It's that none will escape the 1st death.
These verses seem to suggest that some will escape the first death at the 2nd coming.
Is that not the case?
