You wake up to boil water. Your prepaid meter has finished. You switch to gas, only for the gas to finish halfway through.

You abandon the water, dress up and enter keke. The man tells you the price, and you negotiate it down by ₦100. You enter, only for the keke to tear your shirts.

You get to work, do your 9–5, and spend half the day wondering how the salary they pay you will ever make you a millionaire.

You return home, load ₦1,000 prepaid, and the meter gives you 6 units. You stand there wondering, “But last time, this same ₦1,000 gave me 7 units. Wetin happen?”

You manage to eat the leftover eba and soup from yesterday, lie down on your bed and start pressing your phone.
Suddenly, the phone slips from your hand, falls to the floor and the screen cracks.

You just stare at it.
No tears. No anger. Nothing.
You simply start laughing.
See you = see madness.

Spoke with a NEPA official this morning to ask him why they haven't supplied us power in 5 days.

He said they were only allocated 1,000 megawatts to supply, so they are rotating the power supply, which is why we are affected.

All 1 can say is that Nigeria is a failed state.

I was on this road a few weeks ago and I am attest to it. I doubt if there is any other stretch in Nigeria as smooth as that Kaduna-Kano road.

I have been to 27 States in this Country but I have never experienced a smooth over 200km road like the Kaduna - Kano highway. I couldn't spot a bad spot🤟 North get road sha

I was exactly where you are now about three years ago. Every shoot was a battle of where to get gears. If my regular plug disappoints it gets even tougher. Today, I own my own camera and 2 lenses. I still pay studios for rentals but I am not where I was few years ago. Hold on.

As if having to borrow gadgets and pay for studio space is not enough, the transport fare to where I have to borrow from and where the affordable studio is, is killing me too. I don't know how, but I know that someday I will have my own gadgets and my own space.
