Why should Ireland’s young working population
fund the pensions of a generation that:
– Voted FF/FG for 40 years
– Sold the country to Brussels and vulture funds
– Bought homes at 3x income and now sit on €800k
– Watches RTÉ and still thinks everything’s fine
All while knowing those paying in today
will never receive anything close to the same pension.
I know no change is coming.
I just want to know how this is considered just or even sane.
Right now in Mayo, Westmeath, Leitrim, countless isolated villages around Ireland, there is an angry young man in his 30s sitting in his childhood bedroom tweeting.
He knows he has no future beyond emigration but probably has lost all motivation to even do that. He will have a surly and combustable relationship with his father or mother but is stuck together with them because he cannot afford the €2000 per month it costs to rent in the next market town or city.
He is right to be angry. He has been locked out of a full and productive life in his own homeland and community. His chances of owning a home are fading as are his chances of meeting a woman and starting a family. Soon he will be so jaded and angry he will not be able to keep a woman should he manage to attract one blackout drunk at the local nightclub.
I feel for these men. These men need advocates. The longer they stay online, depressed, angry and disillusioned, the more likely it is that they will find the end of the line politically - national socialism or some militia offering them promises of a glorious revolution that will never come. It is happening already.
I despise Fianna Fail and Fine Gael for creating the conditions in which these men fall into this trap. I despise the NGOs, media and snide profiteers who would label them 'incel' or otherwise. I despise the national socialist and identitarian gurus promising false dawns. Every bit of these men's anger is justified and those with the power to change their fate have stuck their middle finger up at them as they focus on EU, globalist and open border projects a million miles from the predicaments of these young men. There should be a tug of war between the establishment and the extreme fringes of Irish politics for these young men but only the fringe is tugging on that rope. The state does not care.
It is an explosive situation.
Micheál Martin has gutted the last remaining drop of Republicanism from FF.
Even FG is now stronger on Irish unity and independence than FF, and that's saying something.

At G7, Boris Johnson explained his frustration with North of Ireland Protocol by asking Macron what he would do if sausages from Toulouse could not be moved to Paris.
The French President responded the comparison didn’t work because Paris and Toulouse are in the same country 🔥
It's a couple of years since I did the leaving...
My mother's advice was 'do your best and God will do the rest'.
I know it's a cliche, but while a good leaving helps, it's only one ingredient in your future.
Beirigí bua, amarach agus gach lá.
Look what happened the last time an Aontú Candidate competed with FF's Deirdre Conroy in an election.
Bodes well for Máiréad Tóibín as she challenges the Covid Coalition in the Dublin Bay South Bye Election.

Delighted that @TobinMairead has been selected to contest the #DBS by-election. Articulate, no-nonsense, experienced, hard-working & smart, she will bring to national politics what is in short supply. A real desire to make Ireland a better country to work for & to live in.
