confirmed: the Presidency has just announced that the issue will be addressed at the upcoming EPSCO Council (11 March) as a discussion item for ministers with a view to agreement. If in between an agreement is found at Coreper level, it will be turned into an AOB item.
The @EUCouncil has agreed to apply the directive on #EuropeanDisabilityCard to third-country nationals who legally reside in an ๐ช๐บ member state.

๐ฒ @EUCouncil & @europarl just found a provisional agreement on the Platform Work Directive (#PWD).
This agreement still needs to be approved by the European Parliament & member states.
We hope that this can be a first step towards better protection of platform workers.
On Tuesday, a provisional deal was reached on the controversial proposal for a Directive on combating violence against women which aimed to define criminal offences and penalties in the areas of sexual exploitation of women and children, and the rights of victims.
Co-Rapporteur @FitzgeraldFrncs stated that: "While this Directive does not address everything that Parliament would wish to, including an offence of rape based on a lack of consent, it does make important strides on prevention, protection and prosecution."
