This slideshow was presented at our Annual Meeting last weekend. It highlights a lot of what we completed and achieved in 2019. Enjoy!

Hard to believe, but this rural scene is SE 52nd at Foster/Powell in 1895.
The rail car is Mount Tabor Street Railroad Co's "steam dummy" — a type of small locomotive built to look like a passenger car. They were used on suburban rail lines before electrification.

@gd4987 Friends of the 4449 operate the locomotive, not ORHF. It is difficult to get onto mainlines in the present day, but it is always something that the Friends of the 4449 are looking into!
@Intermodalist One PA-2 is located in a museum in São Paulo, Brazil. However it is not in good condition. A former Denver and Rio Grande PB1 unit (w/ no cab), number 6002 was supposedly bought by the Algoma Central as still exists. It all depends on what you count as “surviving”!
Flashback! The lead power in the retweeted photo is none other than NKP 190, which can be found behind our doors! During most of the 70s, it ran as D&H 18. Doyle McCormack is restoring the engine at ORHC with the NKP livery. One of 6 surviving ALCO PA diesel locomotives!
