Went to see the Barbie movie. It started a little slow for me. It kept getting better and better. It was hilarious and critical and a good time. 4.5/5 stars
@andersem It can be hard to explain to a tenant looking the difference between the LIHTC waitlist and the PBV waitlist.
Especially when they have different app processes.
I used to manage the public housing and pbv waitlists for a PHA outside of PDX. (But in Oregon)
@andersem Outside of Portland, you have to apply at every property. Some PHAs are moving to a unified waitlist app, but that functions with one app for and you get put on multiple waitlists. But that's only for HUD subsidies.
@andersem The USDA subsidized properties have their own lists. LIHTC, even if owned by a PHA will typically have a separate list. The PHA will have a waitlist for the project based voucher units, but the other unit waitlist will be maintained by the property manager.
Unlike affirmative action, Joe Biden can act immediately today to make sure the supreme court doesn't have final word on student debt
No application. No notice and comment. He can cancel 100% of your student loans before the 4th of July
6-3, SCOTUS strikes down @POTUS’ plan to cancel student debt via the HEROES Act, he can still use the Higher Education Act to cancel the debt.
Congress passed that bill, granting him that authority.
The President must fight for the millions that were promised relief.
