Awad Darawshe was a Muslim paramedic who was near the site of the music festival massacre.

His friends begged him to leave but he insisted on staying to treat the wounded.

He was murdered by Hamas and his ambulance was stolen and driven into the Gaza Strip.

A hero.

Sagi and his boyfriend Omer were supposed to get married next week.

Sagi bravely rushed to kibbutz Beeri to defend the women and children there. He was murdered by Hamas.

@BamBovey @Gerashchenko_en This is similar to a course I sat in mortuary school, before I was allowed to apprentice embalming actual deceased. Other than learning how to recreate missing ears, noses, or other bits, it’s sure not going to help them dealing with battlefield deaths.

@Gerashchenko_en I had to do this mannequin thing in mortuary school, training to be an embalmer. The real thing is totally different. If they bothered to collect their dead instead of leaving them to rot on the battlefield and worked on them, perhaps they’d wake up to reality.

Sophia, 6, was killed by the Russian missile in Chernihiv today.

Sophia was the only and long-awaited child of her parents, Olga and Oleksandr. Her mom is in hospital. Her dad is defending Ukraine in the Army, a family friend wrote.

RIP, Sophia. Deepest condolences to all who knew you.
