What a treat for World Read-aloud Day! Mrs. Miller read us Bubba the Cowboy Prince by Helen Ketteman. A fractured Cinderella fairytale. The best parts were all of the different voices our principal used. Ask us about the similarities and differences we discovered. Yahoo!!

Fall Equinox!!!Today we had fun learning about this time of change and preparation for winter. We thank Red Plume for sharing his teachings with us through a video. We will be looking at Na’a (Mother Earth) closely for her signs and lessons.

Rm 15. We’re finishing our Spirit booklets as part of our learning with the Indigenous Education Holistic Lifelong Learning Framework: Spirit to Be. We discovered we are all unique with different likes, gifts, feelings and goals/dreams. We’re all important in the class pack!

Room 15 had their math brains working hard today! We found ALL the possible solutions to the problem by drawing on our mini whiteboards. Here are a few.

Our first week was awesome! We did back to school art. We practiced math to show the number 7 in different ways (see some of them in the photo below). Ask me about the marble race.
