⛔️⛔️ EXCLUSIVE: Ruud Gullit calls on Gianni Infantino to resign amid growing World Cup controversy‼️
"I have stayed quiet for a long time because I wanted to judge this World Cup on football matters. But the deeper we get into the preparations, the more it becomes clear that football is no longer the main story. For that reason, I believe Gianni Infantino should seriously consider stepping down as FIFA President.
⛔️A World Cup should unite people. Instead, this tournament is becoming a symbol of division, political disputes, travel restrictions, and administrative failures.‼️
I have witnessed this club go from doubters to believers, and from believers to champions. It took hard work and I always did everything I could to help the club get there. Nothing makes me prouder than that.
Us crumbling to yet another defeat this season was very painful and not what our fans deserve. I want to see Liverpool go back to being the heavy metal attacking team that opponents fear and back to being a team that wins trophies. That is the football I know how to play and that is the identity that needs to be recovered and kept for good. It cannot be negotiable and everyone that joins this club should adapt to it.
Winning some games here and there is not what Liverpool should be about. All teams win games.
Liverpool will always be a club that means a great deal to me and to my family. I want to see it succeed for long after I have moved on.
As I’ve always said, qualifying to next season’s Champions League is the bare minimum and I will do everything I can to make that happen.
@bertje_sa@Mbatha_Dumi@Eskom_SA Yet he spent the most amount of money since the dawn of Eskom on buying diesel. R29bn in FY23. That was Andre de Ryter alone
@Willem_Agenbag@mteton@Willem_Agenbag Good. Now, Eskom's coal generation fleet has improved tremendously since 2023, security of supply of coal, and it's quality, has also improved. It is false to attribute less loadshedding to anything else when data shows otherwise. De Ruyter left and Eskom rose 👌🏽
@Willem_Agenbag@mteton 1. Ankerlig was completed 2009, Gourikwa in 2008.
2. De Ruyter changed the operating philosophy of these OCGTs from grid stabilisers (synchronous condenser mode & peak demand management) to mimicking baseload generators during 2022-2023 running even during low demand periods.
@kalliekriel The real farmers are cruising nicely without any issues and if it wasn’t so you and @ErnstRoets will be on that list of people leaving. You sold @POTUS and the @USEmbassyS a dummy !!
Soccer fever at UKZN Graduation: A jubilant fan, Thobeka Zuma walked onto the graduation stage holding up a Kaizer Chiefs shirt to express his joy after the team won the Nedbank Cup Final at the weekend.

@mamgqiga @NalaThokozane @mamgqiga The Sasol you are talking about is franchises, which makes up a less than 5% of Sasol workforce. The production factories hire locals and skilled foreigners who mostly come from Mozambique where Sasol also has a gas production facility.
@ZeroPlus_One @Ma_Goolammv @EFFSouthAfrica 1. Elon is not an ordinary American. He has the ear of the POTUS.
2. Elon is the wealthiest human being on earth
3. Elon is lying about South Africa, openly, with a crowd pull of millions, thus denting our image on the international scene.
4. Elon wants to do business in SA
@porklady@lynne_ogilvy Quick one: Are you implying Government must willy-nilly decide if it wants a new port terminal operator everytime new minister/president takes over?
Wouldn't that defacto lead to instability and uncertainty? Nobody will invest billions for a term that is dictated by politicians
@SirBobb47309591@Enghumbhini Please, you cannot transit between Gauteng and Eastern Cape everyday. You technically reside in Eastern Cape. Your home/family is in Gauteng. So register to vote in Eastern Cape.
This is common sense 🤷🏽♂️
