@DesmoGreeg @zipreeper@icosanaut@engineers_feed In Germany the last one I personally used was in the late 90’. Mind you the video is sped up. They were actually pretty nice and safe to use if the user had half a brain.
@BeauTFC@dolphin_Striker As in show and tell in terms they understand. We had (still a thing) a daily news broadcast in Germany called LOGO which was absolutely great growing up. https://t.co/Onos9nH3rf
@BeauTFC Leatherman Tool every single day, flashlight, phone. In the car: ifac, gfac with general purpose medications, water and food for 3 days, go bag, wet wipes, glass breaker, entry tool, hatchet.
@Slazarone1 @BeauTFC Rottweilers are the absolute best. Big ‘ol cuddle monsters until anything goes bump in the night. “Let me turn off the cute and you inside out!”
@SayNo2SocialMed Oh ok. So because you guys have been artificially jacking up prices sky high for years this is supposed to continue on unchecked? I don’t think so. Look at Europe. It works well there AND manufacturers still make a very nice profit.
@DertGroe@versussocial @dembous11 @engineers_feed As did several other, non German companies. The actual environmental impact pales in comparison to something like a ever present pickup truck in the US for example
@BeauTFC Anyone with even a minor background in engineering “saw” this coming. People cross oceans in wooden boats. What kind of obstacle is a wall in comparison.
@Griffitht_6 @Samuelsiphone @jmartinn7 @elly_nickell You might wanna opt for actual sources with data to back up their claims and not opinion pieces the next time.
