A new study between @OpenAI and @PendaHealth details a real-world study of an AI copilot tool which acts as a safety net for clinicians.

In this study, the copilot tool helped reduce diagnostic errors by 16% and treatment errors by 13%.

📣 Proud to share HealthBench, an open-source benchmark from our Health AI team at OpenAI, measuring LLM performance and safety across 5000 realistic health conversations. 🧵

Unlike previous narrow benchmarks, HealthBench enables meaningful open-ended evaluation through 48,562 unique physician-written rubric criteria spanning several health contexts (e.g., emergencies, global health) and behavioral dimensions (e.g., accuracy, instruction following, communication).

Doctors in England are working in the NHS for £17/hr.

@wesstreeting has proposed that some doctors are worth an extra 49p this year. Under-valuing the public sector seems to be a common theme for this government.

If they keep proposing pay cuts, drs will be back out on strike.
