Amazing PD today with @pgliljedahl at @HRCE_Math… gave me lots to think about and bring back to the classroom next week 🤓
(The only picture I took of another groups math that made my brain hurt a little 😂)
Eight #HRCE staff will receive an award this week for their role in supporting students & appreciating their differences.
Congratulations to David Rodger, a teacher at @JohnMacNeil42!
@MrRodgerHRCE is the recipient of an Education Week Award. #NSEdWeek22@nseducation
Ms. Gallant walked grade 5’s through a fantastic number string today! We got to hear all kinds of great strategies from students that really told us where they are with their multiplicative thinking 🙌🏼 @lindsey_gallant@ya_wolfe @HRCE_Math #HRCEmath@pwharris@RockyElementary
PLZ RETWEET!! A few translated documents such as info about school drills are now available in 9 languages on the EAL page of @HRCE_NS Teaching & Learning site!!!!

How much did I save by filling my tank with gas last night versus this morning? What information do you need to know? Ms. Wilton’s Math 7 students at @EPEC3 worked with decimals to find out! #HRCEmath#ITeachMath
Gr 9 Ss @EllenvaleJrHigh practiced interpolating and extrapolating to make predictions using a @knowledgehook mission. It’s a great way for them to receive quick feedback on how well they understand the concepts and to try again if they get a question wrong. #HRCEMath
Wow! @LeslieBarnhart5’s 601 class @cunardjunior is so awesome! They wrote us wonderful letters about how much they loved their math coach Mrs. Dalton. We were so inspired by their gratitude and love of chocolate math…and now their random acts of kindness! Way to go 601!!
