@JHenryCDF My job in Scotland isn’t giving the PH, but I also wasn’t the kid in school who shouted “not fair” when somebody had a new toy I didn’t have, so I feel like I can manage to be happy for folk who are getting it without being a total miserable git. Might just be me though…
@509298 As a native Scot, I reject the premise of the question. I’m not sure what being baldy has to do with wearing a Scotland top - maybe someone should ask Scott Brown? I’m sure some of them have had a drink, but most of the video I’ve seen they’re just enjoying themselves?
@feebee_69 I have, not once, but TWICE now in recent years shown up to work, wondered why I have no patient notes on the trolley, then discovered that I have booked an annual leave day and completely forgotten 🫣🤣
@Grumblehampton@JoLocke1 Give over! A generation using social media to complain about a tricky exam paper, rather than moaning about it with their pals in school like previous generations did.
@samedaydoctorUK@jabberwock951 don’t necessarily agree with pharmacy based schemes but this is not the reason. services are increasingly NHS commissioned with (some) meds provided under NHS funding, and if all patients were going to a GP anyway even some of them being referred on doesn’t increase GP workload?
@bethy_poo82@djeglin@FattusPrickus 😂 You can get away with a lot I think, you see a lot of skater type dresses that are clearly princess themed and identifiable, but are ok because all the actual princesses are in full length dresses.
@bethy_poo82@djeglin@FattusPrickus Not if you’re over 12 and the staff consider that it could be mistaken for a character costume. It’s a bit of a judgement call re where to draw the line on their part though 😂
@functional_rqmt@ExplosiveEnema2 Just re-read and you’re referring to a mother who lost a child to a brain tumour, and may well see this, as a snowflake. I’m not entirely sure why I bothered to engage.
@functional_rqmt@ExplosiveEnema2 I think the OP and most healthcare workers reading this will know that, but the intent doesn’t change the impact for the patient reading it. If the system lets them see it, the NHS needs to be accountable for what info is included.
@MichaelRosenYes@ChiswickLion Also completely wrong - there was no “6 month rule” for travel to EU countries when UK was an EU member. This specific issue is 100% related to brexit.
@Maximus728388@VonnSand@ScottishLabour Young person is immediately placed back on a different waiting list to actually see a CAMHS professional, which can have a further wait of many months to years. 2/2
@Maximus728388@VonnSand@ScottishLabour AI not the most reliable source, and as always, there’s a story behind the numbers. Almost 1/4 of referrals are rejected without being seen - so that won’t count in these figures. https://t.co/ajlmKOXLvd I’ve also seen first hand an appointment given for triage where the 1/2
