🚨During the campaign, @Plaid_Cymru promised to stand up for Wales, and demand the fairness we deserve from Westminster on issues such as HS2.
In government, we’re already delivering on that promise 🏴
We expect our elected representatives to tell the truth.
What you claim and your evidence are in two different dimensions.
Stop being so desperate to embarrass yourself. It’s not a good look.
Plaid Cymru separatists are taking money from our NHS to fund legal advice for asylum seekers.
They're acting outside the Senedd's remit to give asylum seekers special privileges.
This shows where Plaid Cymru separatists’ priorities really lie.
Generally I have not been a fan of @Keir_Starmer .
On this occasion he got it spot on.
Much like Theresa May, he is far too robotic.
But just occasionally, we start to see the personal under the mask.
That is what we need to see more of. The real person. Not the politician.
Cai.
A family are grieving after the tragic death of their son. They explicitly request privacy and for this not to be politicised.
Yet Reform have *explicitly* ignored this wish. Look at the riots in Southampton last night.
Respect the family. Not the orders of your boss.
I don't normally post on issues outside of Wales, but the murder of Henry Nowak is a tragic case that deserves comment.
To British police, an accusation of racism outweighed an accusation of attempted murder.
In his final moments, Henry lay handcuffed, struggling to breathe, as he slowly bled to death. While his attacker was consoled.
Had Henry not been a white man, or his killer not been from an ethnic minority, he would have received the emergency healthcare and dignity he deserved.
Closer to my constituency, this week South Wales Police have instructed staff to log anything that goes beyond 'legitimate' discussion of Islam. Not Christianity, not Judaism, not Hinduism...
Will the next tragedy be on the streets of Cardiff? A victim of assault lying in handcuffs while their attacker cries 'Islamophobia'?
Different cases, same rot: the law applied unequally depending on who you are. Two-tier Britain, two-tier Wales, two-tier Cardiff.
But there is hope. Reform has announced that within 100 days of forming a UK government we will pass the Equal Treatment Act. This will ban Police Race Action Plans, DEI in the police and special treatment of specific religions.
One law for all, or a two-tier system. There is no third option. Reform chooses one law.
🚨Plaid Cymru promised to stand up for Wales.
In government, we’re already making progress on getting the fairness Wales deserves from Westminster 🏴
Last month, the people of Wales voted for fairness and hope.
Plaid Cymru has a mandate to demand better for our communities.
It’s time for the UK Government to fulfil Wales’ democratic wishes and give us the fair funding and the powers we need to thrive.
📈Wales has the assets, the talent, and the potential to succeed - what’s needed is new leadership. That’s what Plaid Cymru will deliver 🏴
Mae gan Gymru’r asedau, y talent, a’r potensial i ffynnu - ond mae angen arweinyddiaeth newydd. Dyna beth fydd Plaid Cymru yn ei gyflawni🏴
This violence is a *direct* response to @Nigel_Farage’s call to “respond with pure cold rage.”
The grieving family asked not politicise their son’s death.
That is a direct call to incite violence.
@HantsPolice this is a offence of Prohibition of Incitement to Hatred Act 1989.
Farage has sought to make a vile political scene out of a family that has asked for privacy whilst grieving and requested their son’s tragic death not be politicised.
Now his yobbish followers do his disgusting bidding.
Utterly sickening @Nigel_Farage.
Wales doesn't lack potential. For too long, we've simply lacked a government to realise it.
By supporting businesses, innovation, and the workforce - this Plaid Cymru government is committed to boosting productivity, to improve wages and living standards across Wales. ✊🏴
First session of First Minister's Questions ✅ ✊
While Reform's ambitions are to privatise the NHS - the people of Wales have put their trust in this Plaid Cymru government to protect our NHS and strengthen it for the future.
So despite Henry's dad making it clear that they "do not want his death to be used to create further division, hatred or tension”, Farage uses his death in an emergency address to create division for his own gain.
An awful politician.
A family are grieving and have made a request for their child’s tragic death not to be politicised.
Welsh Tories tone deaf as always.
Race baiting to the bottom on a very dark barrel.
Henry Nowak's appalling treatment was the result of serious cultural problems within the police.
To address them, a Stephen Lawrence style inquiry is required.
Plaid Cymru is answerable only to the people of Wales, not to any bosses in Westminster.
From the Crown Estate to the billions we're owed from HS2, Plaid Cymru will always fight for the interests of Wales' communities.
