OU STEM student associated with ducks. Random thoughts on STEM, OU, education and politics. Plus anything else I think of. she/her. girly swot. European.
I've been active in politics for 70 years, I've seen politicians I admire, politicians I despise, drunks, adulterers, saints and bores, but I've never seen a group who've actively pursued a course that is utterly at odds with the wellbeing of the nation - until now

I’d rather have a burgundy coloured EU passport that gives unrestricted freedom of movement to live, work, study and travel around 27 other countries than a blue coloured UK passport that doesn’t offer these freedoms. Please retweet if you agree.
Whenever I see people claiming Covid doesn’t exist, or refusing to wear masks (if they can), or talking about not taking up a vaccine ... I want them to get it.
Not wanting to kill them ofc- but just an unpleasant dose that make them realise they were selfish irresponsible arses.
Why is it the same people who claim they “can’t breathe” in masks also claim masks are ineffective in stopping the virus?
Do they actually think it’s possible to create a mask that stops something as small as an oxygen or carbon dioxide molecule but lets through water droplets ?
It’s heartbreaking to know that more than 5,000 people have unfollowed us just because we could no longer follow everyone back.
Please follow and RT if you’re still right behind us.
The more followers we have, the more we can do for the NHS.
Yes I would make exactly the same comments whatever it was.
Yes the government are irresponsible in the extreme to have enabled this.
But that does not absolve individuals of their responsibility to not endanger themselves and, more importantly, others.
Anyone else who lives in a city or town literally not wanting to set foot outside today because of the chance of drunken idiots?
(The idiocy with ignoring social distancing makes me feel I take my life in my hands going out anyway, let alone once it’s alcohol fuelled)
