1/2 Fewer people are accessing #CHEO's library each year with more folks finding what they need online. And then came #COVID19. Based on this, CHEO has decided to permanently close its onsite library as of Dec 18. We plan to support families, staff and learners in new ways!
๐Amidst COVID-19 infodemic ๐ฐ we should be investing in, not closing libraries. Info professionals are experts at searching & appraising sources of information. This goes for busy health care professionals as well as families in need of reliable, evidence-based info. 5/5
