Learning about fentanyl years ago made me realize drugs are actually unironically dangerous now

At first I was like "whatever, it's not like I use enough to overdose even if there is some in my drugs."

Then I learned it only takes like 1mg to kill you and I was like "hmmmm... okay, guess I was wrong. Well, doesn't matter anyway - I only use uppers and there's no way dealers are cutting their uppers with downers that counteract the effects and kill their customers, that'd be totally retarded!"

Then I see like 500 people posting test results showing their cocaine has fentanyl in it for some reason, and I'm forced to accept that my theory about drug dealers being rational capitalistic market participants may have been misguided. (to this day I still don't know why dealers do this - best explanation I've heard is that it's unintentional cross-contamination from multiple products)

I deploy my final druggie cope:

"Even if there is some in my drugs, I should be fine if I'm using the same batch other people used without dying!"

Then I learn it clumps up, so you can have a bag of cocaine where like 98% of it won't be an issue but that last bit has a tiny 3mg crumb of fentanyl and kills you instantly. Even batches that test negative can kill people sometimes!

It's insane. It's like it was specifically designed to lure people into a false sense of safety before just pulling the plug and erasing their lives.

There's basically no safe way to do drugs now unless you carry around a bunch of test strips, and nobody does that because it defeats the entire purpose of drugs by making them dorky. I'm old now so this doesn't really impact me, but if they rolled fent out while I was a kid I 100% would have died.

19-year-old Lukas would read this exact post I'm writing, laugh, yell "okay BITCH!!" and gigadose whatever random powder he had on hand as a middle finger to the author. He'd probably be fine, but now there's this constant tiny chance he's not, and his mom gets a call about her dead son the next day instead. It's not good.

I have no idea what the solution is other than like, giving the dad of every dead kid a shotgun, the address of his kid's dealer and a legal contract absolving him of any laws he may break in the following 24h.

The Nintendo Switch will soon have a fully featured and updateable flash cart.

This will be the only solderless mod available for newer revisions of the hardware, including the OLED.
