In memory of President Carter, we at COIL wanted to share this 2000 letter from our founder James H. Billington to James Carter III about @FriendshipForce, and a 1999 photo of Carter with an early COIL delegation hosted by the Friendship Force in Atlanta.
His legacy lives on.
