The NHIA has donated to support the development of a solar-powered dialysis machine by Obuasi Senior High Technical School. The NHIA boss also is recommending additional funding for the project. #JoyNews

Exactly one week, Obuasi SHTS showcased what could be the first solar-powered dialysis machine for Ghana. They seek to commercialize it and make dialysis treatment more affordable in Ghana.

Ghana has officially decriminalized attempted suicide, following the passing of the Criminal Offences Amendment Act, 2023 (Act 1092).

It was communicated through a notice directed by the Chief Justice, Gertrude Torkonoo to all Circuit Court Judges and Magistrates.
