@thepichugger @denvercoder Ya it’s typically about 4 years to reach normal pay. Which depending on area doing basic electrical is gonna be high 40s low 50s. Get on with power company. 68-72/hr. Anything over 40 is double time. Call outs triple time. That’s a 220k/year plus job. Tougher work generally

Here’s the problem with trade work.

I’m putting electrical inside a Panda Express for $20/hr.

Meanwhile Panda Express pays their Kitchen Team $22/hr.

Best advice for a young person. Start a trade ASAP. With the goal of getting into a public utility company or starting your own business. Once you’ve journeyed. Take that skill and move somewhere affordable. Buy a house there
