💢 The U.S. has burned through “virtually all” of its ATACMS and newer PrSM long-range missiles during the war on Iran, Reuters reported, citing two sources.

The weapons cost more than $1 million each and allow U.S. forces to strike deep targets without risking pilots. Slightly less than half of the global Tomahawk stockpile has also been used.

The depletion could force Trump to rely on riskier piloted bombing missions in any renewed large-scale attack. CSIS estimates the war has consumed about 65% of U.S. Patriot interceptors, while THAAD stocks are at least 38% lower.

The US has burned through roughly a third of its total pre-war stockpile of key precision munitions in Iran War.

Interceptors are the most exposed: up to 80% of THAAD (190–290 of 360), more than half of SM-3 (130–250 of 410), and up to 61% of Patriots (1,060–1,430 of 2,330) are gone.

Long-range strike weapons are also depleted at scale, with 1,000+ Tomahawks and 1,100+ JASSMs used, and nearly the entire small PrSM stockpile (40–70 of 90) fired.

Wildfires raging in Southwest France are not burning natural forests but immense plantations of pine trees. For many years, we have warned Uganda and other African countries about the dangers of establishing plantations of non-native pine species, including wildfires and loss of biodiversity. The current disasters in Europe must be a wake-up call for African governments considering expanding such plantations.
