CELEBRATING A FATHER, A VOICE, A GIFT TO OUR GENERATION โ HAPPY BIRTHDAY APOSTLE JOSHUA SELMAN
"I have found Joshua My servant; with My holy oil have I anointed him." Psalm 89:20
Today, we celebrate our dear father and mentor, whose "yes" to the Lord has become a doorway through which countless souls have encountered Christ, been transformed, and received light. We honour not just your birth, but your obedience. Not just your impact, but your consistency. Not just your ministry, but your unwavering devotion to revealing Jesus Christ and bringing Him glory.
Through your teachings, many have found language for their destinies. Through your support and prayers, many have found the strength to keep believing. Through your example, many have discovered that intimacy with God is not a myth, but a possibility.
You have taught us the way to love and shown us what true greatness in the Kingdom looks like. You have taught us to pursue Jesus above all else, to value Christ-like character above charisma, and to contend for deeper dimensions of spiritual growth and maturity.
The countless souls saved, lives touched, destinies aligned, families restored, leaders raised, and altars rekindled through Koinonia stand as living proof that one yielded life can become a blessing to nations.
Thank you for remaining faithful to the call.
Thank you for teaching us the ways of God.
Thank you for carrying the burdens of many with grace and compassion
Thank you for being a voice of hope, faith, and light in our time.
Thank you for demonstrating that a man can walk with God, remain yielded to Him, and finish strong.
As we honour you on this special day, we pray that the God whom you have served so faithfully will continue to strengthen you, enlarge your influence for His glory, multiply His grace upon your life, and reward every sacrifice made in devotion to His purposes.
May your latter days be greater than your former. May the oil upon your life never cease. May your voice continue to echo across nations. May kings and generations yet unborn rise and call you blessed. May the impact of your life continue to bear fruit for eternity.
Happy Birthday, Apostle Joshua Selman.
We love you deeply, we honour you dearly, and we celebrate you joyfully.

BEFORE YOU "DROP YOUR PHONE" AT A NIGERIAN POLICE STATION, READ THIS!
โWeโve all experienced it. You walk into a police station in Nigeria, and the officer at the gate or counter barks the standard order: "Hey! Drop your phone under the tree / inside that plastic basket before you enter!"
โMost of us comply out of fear, but have you ever stopped to ask: What is the legality of this practice? Letโs break down the law so you know your rights the next time you visit a station.
โ1. The Legal Truth: Can they stop you from bringing your phone inside?
โYes, technically they can. Under Section 4 of the Police Act 2020, the police have the administrative power to maintain security and order within their facilities.
A police station is a sensitive security zone. To prevent unauthorized recording of operational areas or protecting the privacy of suspects in cells, they have the right to say, "You cannot bring a recording device into this office."
โ2. Where the Police Enter a Legal Minefield
โWhile they can restrict the phone from entering, how they handle your device is where they routinely break the law. There is a massive legal difference between a security restriction and arbitrary seizure.
โNo Forced Seizure: If you choose not to enter, they cannot forcefully take your phone from you.
โThe Constitutional Right to Privacy: Section 37 of the 1999 Constitution guarantees your right to privacy. Your smartphone contains your bank details, private WhatsApp chats, and personal data.
โNo Unwarranted Searches: An officer at the counter has zero legal right to demand that you unlock your phone or scroll through your private messages just because you walked into the station.
To search your phone, they need a valid search warrant or a direct link to an active criminal investigation.
โThe Duty of Care: If the police take your phone at the gate, they become legally responsible for it. Forcing you to drop a N500,000 smartphone in an unmonitored plastic basket or "under a tree" is a gross act of negligence.
If that phone is lost, damaged, or accessed by a third party, the police can be sued for damages.
โ3. The Courts are Clamping Down!
โIf you think the police can get away with this forever, think again. Human rights lawyers including high-profile cases handled by the likes of Barrister Deji Adeyanju in Abuja have repeatedly dragged security agencies to court over the unlawful seizure and searching of citizens' phones.
โThe courts have consistently ruled that the arbitrary seizure of a citizenโs mobile phone at a checkpoint or station gate is illegal, unconstitutional, null, and void. The police have been ordered to pay millions in damages to citizens for these exact violations.
โKnow Your Rights: What Should You Do?
โThe next time you need to visit a police station to make a report or visit a loved one, protect yourself and your data:
โLeave it Outside:
The safest legal move is to leave your phone locked out of sight in your vehicle, or hand it to a trusted friend or companion to hold outside the station perimeter.
โNever Unlock Your Phone: If an officer insists on holding your phone at the counter, never unlock it for them.
โKnow the Boundary:
They can refuse to let the phone enter the building, but they cannot confiscate it or snoop through your life without a warrant.
โKnowledge is power. Don't let compliance turn into the surrender of your constitutional rights!

ยฉ Law Parlour
This is the shame that many nigerian churches have willingly become for the sake of political alliance and financial benefits.
This is not just a skit.
To every creative serving in church:
You are not just holding a camera. You are ministering.
Your creativity is ministry.
Your storytelling can become a channel through which Jesus is revealed.
And one thing I've learned is oneโs ability to align with God at the moment.
That night, I knelt down in worship with tears in my eyes, not because the picture went viral, but because God chose to use my work to touch hearts.
That was the real miracle.
Itโs crazy that @NASA has been releasing such quality photos of the moon. And I donโt want to be *that* guy, but Iโve just noticed some things that I donโt think add up. Let me explain ๐๐ผ
Thereโs a man in my neighborhood who has been raising his two sons alone since his wife passed away ๐. The boys are 23 and 19.
He hustles daily, driving a korope around Egbeda, and even tried to place them in workshops to learn a trade, but they refused. Lately, he started noticing changes .... they suddenly began buying expensive things, upgraded their wardrobes, and even showed off an iPhone 16 at the same time. That alone made him suspicious, so he seized their phones.
Earlier today, things took another turn when he found black soap and some other items in their room, which raised more concerns. When he questioned them, the older son responded confidently, saying heโs doing what he believes is right. According to him, at least heโs not stealing or causing problems in the neighborhood, and heโs only trying, in his own way, to lift his father out of years of struggle.
The situation, however, escalated quickly. The father, clearly worried and unsettled, decided to involve the police, and both boys were taken away.
Since then, the whole neighborhood has been divided, with many people debating whether calling the police was truly the right decision.
Spiritual warfare 101 - No matter how overwhelmed you โfeelโ inside, never show the devil. You see, the devil is NOT Omniscient, so he does not know all things. The things he knows about us are things said and spoken of us. Or the things we let out from our mouths ourselves or by our reactions and actions. So while you may be overwhelmed in your soul, the way he gets to know is from your reaction. And because he is a wicked and oppressive entity, when he knows where it hurts, he robs it in the more.
But responding in praise confounds him. This is exactly the rationale behind the idea that praise confuses the enemy. Because he canโt understand why his onslaught is not causing you to give up and give in.
So beloved saints of God, regardless how you feel right now, find a way to release your praise !
โ14ย But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more.โ
Psalm 71:14.
You are BLESSED ๐
