Digital Health |EMR/HMIS Implementation|Exploring Health Informatics & AI in Healthcare | Improving Primary Healthcare through Technology 🇳🇬 Man U❤️Athlete⚽️
Medical Record Officers in Primary healthcare facilities would rather still use the tedious manual method of recording than the interoperable EMR which is faster and efficient. I guess it’s just the fear of adopting new technology, they will get use to it with time.
A digital health project is not successful because the software is live.
It’s successful when healthcare workers choose to use it as part of their daily workflow to improve patient care.
Implementation doesn’t end at deployment, that’s actually where it starts.
An electronic medical record (EMR) system can be well designed but if there is no internet connectivity or the right infrastructure, health workers can’t fully use it. For a digital implementation to be successful, it doesn’t depend on the technology alone…….
