While I accept and embrace my failings as a beginner, I do not allow it to deter me!
I remind myself all the time, there is no such crime as being a novice, it's staying so that's criminal- A K

Instead of frustrating Nurses and preventing them from going abroad why don't we start massive training of nurses and send them abroad to help with remittances back home?
Our nurses are great and in demand. Give the world more.
It's one thing for you as a Doctor to choose not to lend your voice (your choice) to the current fight for Nurses and their profession, it's another thing to gaslight Doctors that are supporting them. Just cut it out.
Drs have been at the pinnacle of health leadership & their voices will always carry the heaviest punch in Nigeria's Healthcare Space
If you don't want to support, it's your choice. Move on and stop making an issue out of this because "Nurses weren't there to fight for Drs plights". Just ignore those who are supporting and move on.
Some of us are taking a chance to do better, be better and bridge a gap to heal the wounds inflicted by our differences in this profession. If you're not interested, feel free to sit it out.
T for Thanks
Day 2.
Spread the word.
Nurses from all walks of life should come and defend the profession.
We would not be caged !
We would not be enslaved !
We demand proper remuneration !

I know these rules are put in place to stop doctors and nurses from going elsewhere for a better pay. You donโt value your medical practitioners enough to provide a comfortable working condition and you stil donโt want them to leave like a toxic ex. #NotoNMCNverificationrules
My suggestions on this NMCN verification matter
All Nurses go on strike
Doctors join the strike in solidarity (I know this is a test run to see if it'll be accepted so it's important MDCN don't get any stupid ideas)
Issue a class action suit against NMCN
Hold them on chokehold.
Nurses are undervalued, underpaid, & underappreciated; But instead of addressing the issue, NMCN is looking for ways to limit their chances of seeking greener pastures abroad. The height of w!ckedness in this country is !nsane.
This is exploitative. We're already making a difficult situation more difficult.
Increasing roadblocks and barriers in a country that desperately needs healthcare workers.
We all say #NotoNMCNVerification
When the entire world is moving forward, NMCN decided to move 10 years behind.
If the board donโt care about their own kids, at least pity other peopleโs children.
The economy is not helping, you people decided to add your own to it.
Do you enjoy when you see people suffering ? Is it a curse?

Thank you for lending your voice, Heads of Nursing Services Department and Principals of Schools in Federal Health Institutions.
Some salient points raised hereโฆ
My position on this is very clear.
I stand with Nigeria nurses on this.
@Nigeria_NMC, there are better ways to address migration issues.
Definitely not this approach.
#NotoNMCNVerificationrule
Although I have been on media break for close to a year now, I've monitored closely the recent events around the Nigerian #Nursingverification. I was on call to the @Nigeria_NMC registrar 3 days ago to gain insights on why exactly the verification was placed on hold.

For the first time in the history of Nigerian nursing, we'll be suing the @Nigeria_NMC and its registrar. This is 2024 and they need to be accountable. NMCN is a regulatory body and not above the law!!!
