To be honest, @UberNigeria @Uber_Support, you are becoming one of the most USELESS ride services in Nigeria. The way you treat customers is disgusting.

A vendor, Abdul Alim, booked an Uber driver, AONDOFA PHILIP, to deliver a laptop and 2 modems worth over half a million naira to a customer in a Lagos estate. What happened? The items were NEVER delivered. Yet Philip had the audacity to mark “Delivered” on the app and you still charged Alim ₦3,000 for the ride!

The moment this happened, Alim called the customer to confirm delivery, nothing was received. He called Philip, and the driver shamelessly admitted the items were with him but gave vague, shady answers on how he planned to return them.

The customer reported to Uber. What did Uber Support say? “Tell the account holder to contact us.” Alim emailed you you did NOTHING. He even went to @PoliceNG in Computer Village, they collected ₦5,000 from him, then demanded another ₦10,000 for “mobilisation” to get Philip. Still nothing.

After so much pressure, this driver had the nerve to tell them to come to some scary, life-threatening location to retrieve the items themselves. Is this how Uber and your drivers operate? Is this your definition of “service”?

If Uber was truly reputable, you would have handled the recovery, penalised that driver, and compensated your customer. But you did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Nigerians face this nonsense every day but many can’t speak out.

Enough is enough. Uber must REFUND Abdul Alim’s money, pay back every kobo spent recovering those items, and stop enabling drivers who rob customers in broad daylight. This is shameful.
