Is it just me, or does anyone else completely detest everything APC?
My aunt’s husband is a hardcore APC supporter. I visited them yesterday for their daughter’s birthday
we got into a heated political conversation.
This man was using every ounce of his energy to defend Tinubu. It got so intense that I lost my cool and insulted him.
I told him straight to his face that he is a wicked man, and anyone supporting this government despite the current state of Nigeria is capable of anything.
I even said that maybe if his own children were the ones kidn@pp€d and left to suffer in the bush for 50 days under the rain and sun, he wouldn’t be defending APC.
Immediately I said that, my aunt flew into a rage. I didn't back down, I told her I meant every word because her husband is heartless. It almost caused a massive feud. I just carried my hand bag and walked out.
As long as that man supports APC, he is feasting on people’s tears. I am never stepping foot in their house again.

I read a post where someone lamented that Muslim students in Catholic schools are required to attend Catholic Masses.
I think this issue deserves a little more nuance.
First, a Catholic school is not simply an academic institution that teaches Mathematics and English. It is an apostolate and ministry of the Catholic Church. Its mission is to form the whole person - mind (intellectually), character (morally), spirit (spiritually), and (body) socially. That education does not simply end in the four walls of the classrooms, it continues also in the Mass which is at the heart of Catholic school's identity.
At the same time, even though all students in a Catholic school, irrespective of their faith, attend the Holy Mass, no one is ever be forced to become a Catholic against his or her conscience. The Mass attendance is simply part of the school's communal life and formation.
Third, every institution has the right to preserve its identity. Just as an Islamic school has the right to organize its life around Islamic worship and values, a Catholic school has the same right to organize its life around the Mass and Catholic teaching. Religious freedom protects not only individuals but also religious institutions.
Fourth, parents make a free choice when they enroll their children in a Catholic school. No one is compelled to do so. With that choice comes an understanding that the school's ethos - including prayer, liturgy, and religious formation - forms part of the educational environment. Catholic formation is part of Catholic education.
I personally know many parents from other faith traditions who specifically choose Catholic schools for their children because they value the discipline, moral formation, academic excellence, and strong values that Catholic Religious education provides. They understand that these qualities are inseparable from the Catholic identity of the school, of which the celebration of the Mass is an essential part.
Lastly, I think what is needed is mutual respect. Catholics should never suppress the sincerely held beliefs of non-Catholic students. Likewise, those who freely choose a Catholic institution should respect its mission and traditions. Diversity is best served not by asking every institution to abandon its identity, but by allowing each to live its identity while treating everyone with dignity and respect.
In Catholic schools, we do formation and not conversion. And if a school is free to be authentically Catholic, its Catholic formation cannot be separated from its Catholic education.

Your daughter just got her first period.
Do not tell her she is a woman now.
Tell her what estrogen does.
Tell her what progesterone does.
Tell her her cycle has four phases and each one will feel different.
Give her information. Not a new identity.
No marble altar. No cathedral walls. Just a makeshift table in the middle of the bush. Yet the same Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the same Christ truly present.
‘I gave half a billion , I gave a billion ‘ @RemiTinubu is it your father’s money !? Are you crazy ???
Talking like you’re doing people a favor . God will punish you wicked witch
Roasting corn and kuli-kuli as hope renewed. Where drones are changing warfare. Where women are leading regional politics driving change. In world where we are talking about how AI is changing industry. These people despise Nigerians. I am just thinking of the wife of the German Chancellor saying they have provided grants for women to start selling schnitzel and currywurst as part of the Chancellor's agenda of renewed hope.
Guys!! It’s cold very outside! I just stepped outside my house to feel it. And if it’s this cold in Lagos, it’s colder in Ibadan and much even colder in the bushes! These children and their teachers are shivering right now! This is their 27th night! God!😭😭
