An wonderful day cycling around Loch Etive & through Glen Kinglass to Bridge of Orchy. Raced to grab food just before 10 in Tyndrum & enjoying a midge free hostel bed in Crianlarich. Argyll is so beautiful & will be a large part of the new film I am working on, to premier soon.
The latest results from the @ONS show that in 2018, international tourism was worth £17m to Oban's economy, placing us as the 50th most popular UK town or city👍 #oban#argyll#scotlandisnow https://t.co/nXJQJrHm90 📸 credit: Kieran Duncan
A thunderstorm on the commute home today, a pretty rare thing to happen. Pretty amazed by the ability of my iPhone to capture the moment on the Innocent Railway Path. Wet but impressive. Drying off now. #cycling
A stunning day for a bike ride. Oban has put its sunny face on for this year’s @ObanSportive, and I’m looking forward to riding the 87mile long course this year on a nice 1970s #singlespeed. Good luck to everyone, enjoy the sunny backroads of Argyll.
Just back from a wonderful weekend supporting the Oban Sportive. One of the most beautiful hill climbs & a 87mile loop that had a lot of climbing & beautiful views. Thanks also to Oban Distillery for hosting me for a talk, and Steven for giving me place to sleep with magic views!
Loads of traffic & great views on my way to Oban on the Oban Sportive route for tomorrow, which takes riders on the Caledonia Way through Glen Lonan. The ☀️is out, looking forward to the big loop on the beautiful 1970s singlespeed I rode for the hill climb today. Bonnie Argyll!
