I keep getting told how much of an extremist I am for my political views. I figured I would share my results so libs can visually see how far right you have to be, to be considered a Nazi in their schizophrenic fever dream. When you support tyranny, freedom seems extreme to you
@usul573@NBCNews No, they started a proxy war by couping the government which promised neutrality, attempted to steal Russia's largest naval base and fleet, block their access to the black sea, killed their own people for wanting independence and lets the CIA and foreign militaries move in.
@jclarke73759694@NBCNews history*
After refusing naturality, couped by the CIA, tried handing Russia's largest naval base/fleet to NATO, block Russian access to the black sea, alllowed the CIA and foreign militaryies to set up bases next door and start killing its own people for wanting independence.
@JeffreyRWRath@Martyupnorth@colesgrama Also, I am fine with a leadership review, but frankly, I don't think DS will lose it. If there is a path to having a sep. supporter leader Alberta without provincial leadership falling to NDP, then I am down. But with the cards we have, I don't see, and neither does Keith.
@CarmYEGAB@JeffreyRWRath@Martyupnorth@colesgrama I don't disagree with him on the merit of his claims. My only issue is that his approach to critising DS comes off as juvenile and obsessive. I don't actually think he is entirely wrong. He needs to understand that UCP voters are the base of this movement, and most are fine w/ DS
@JeffreyRWRath@Martyupnorth@colesgrama Not because they love Danielle, but because handing the NDP a victory will do nothing for this movement or the province. I am totally on board with bold moves, but that isn't the same and blindly jumping ship. You propose an actual plan other than "Fuck DS" and ill hear you out.
@JeffreyRWRath@Martyupnorth@colesgrama Keith Wilson took the approach which would get us the highest results in this vote. Your approach has been the strategy that has fragmented the movement. It is fine to not want DS, you're the one criticizing those who take a neutral approach to her being leader for the short term
@JeffreyRWRath@Martyupnorth@colesgrama And to be clear, I am definitely not saying DS is the right person to lead Alberta, especially for separation. But I am also not willing to give the NDP control of the next several years. If a better candidate comes around who is also pro-separation, I fine voting for that.
@Martyupnorth Honestly, not sure we can get a separatist leader in. I am not naysaying or against the idea; I am just not really sure what our options are right now for pushing separation that don't lead to an NDP leadership. I don't think overthrowing Smith in the *short term* would be wise.
@Mill_Moron@IgorRyltsev I am not talking about the sequence of the votes, nor about why large counts occurred sequentially down ballot; I am talking about the real phenomenon known as "the blue shift". Later-counted votes tend to lean to the left. - Also, we're fucked.
@AmusedRedPanda@wyatt_claypool@LyleStewart55 I am not the one struggling to understand why vague comments can be perceived and interpreted in a multitude of ways. Don't blame me for a poor statement; I wasn't the one who made it. She did. She could have been clearer, and she wasn't.
@AmusedRedPanda@wyatt_claypool@LyleStewart55 You see, what you just said, to you, I am sure sounds smart, but when other people read it, they interpret it as sounding retarded. That is how perspectives work. How something is said isn't the same as how it is perceived, and what she said could easily be interpreted as voters.
