Uganda is very interesting, a whole MP is missing for weeks but the Vice President came to tell Parliament that the missing MP is healthy where she is.
Just like that unlawful detention has been justified.

🇺🇬 President Museveni says Uganda’s struggle to move households into the money economy has taken more than a century.
He says from 1894 to independence in 1962, only 9% of homesteads had joined the money economy, while 91% remained in subsistence production.
The President says this concern shaped the NRM’s 10-Point Programme, especially the call to build an independent, integrated and self-sustaining economy.
He says the number later rose to 32% by 2013, prompting Government to involve the UPDF and Gen. Salim Saleh in efforts to mobilise households into income-generating activity.
With interventions such as free seedlings and the Parish Development Model, he says 67% of homesteads are now in the money economy, but 33% remain outside it.
Why it matters: the President is framing household income transformation as a leadership test. His message is that the next phase of the Budget must push more families from subsistence into production, enterprise and wealth creation.
President @KagutaMuseveni: Even Opposition MPs, as long as you are earning allowances and are not monitoring government initiatives, I will speak to the Attorney General and find a solution for you. These programs are not for NRM. They are for your own people.

Museveni: I have appointed people in Local Government whom some describe as cantankerous and quarrelsome, such as Balaam and Nameere. Nameere is famous for quarreling. So, go and quarrel with her.

🚨 JUST IN: President Trump reveals his Iran deal set to be signed BANS THEM FROM GETTING A NUCLEAR WEAPON
47 has now been speaking to world leaders in the region, including Netanyahu and will speak to Turkey
"And most importantly, we have a deal that Iran will never have a nuclear weapon, which was the whole purpose of what we had to go through to get this."
"So it was a big, very big thing. But we have a signing soon, and the documents are in pretty final shape."
"It should be done. And that should be done pretty quickly. They want it."
"But as much as everybody else wants it. And I think a lot of good relationships can ensue from this. Just spoke with the leaders of many of the countries that were mentioned in the release."
"I just spoke to Bibi. I spoke to the head of great heads of nations, Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, and others. And we're going to be talking to Turkey."
Museveni: I will seek a legal basis to demand performance from both the NRM and the opposition, as long as they receive government funds. We must ensure accountability. Some in the opposition act maliciously to frustrate programmes so that the NRM is blamed
