2day in #Notts: met virtually with @DHSCgovuk to discuss publication, filmed with the media & covered the importance of @OckReview for families & staff (here in Nottingham & nationally). Followed by meetings with families & the Trust & an important catch up with #Chichester team

Today, on Florence Nightingale's birthday, is International Nurses Day. The @OckReview Team would like to thank all the very many nurses who provide safe and compassionate care for their skilled contribution to nursing. Their role is essential to healthcare systems worldwide.
This day of recognition highlights the importance of nursing and the profession’s ongoing commitment to care for families at the most critical times. Thank you to all nurse colleagues, and student nurses who give of their very best in caring for others.

The Review acknowledges that nationally, Black families are disproportionately impacted by perinatal loss. This week amplifies the voices of Black families, & strives for necessary improvements for more equitable care & better
3/4 online support meeting for African and Caribbean communities. Created for bereaved parents & families.

In raising awareness, we support women affected by their mental health in feeling less alone. We see and hear the need for more robust services which support women throughout their pregnancy journey.
