In celebration of the 125th Anniv of the DAR Hospital Corps, Ocoee Chapter honors unsung nurses. This is a chance to say Thank You to all those that are in the profession currently or are retired. Joretta Lynn-Courson is a retired nurse and was recognized at the March meeting.

Ocoee Chapter, NSDAR received a Flag Replacement Grant to “Salute to the Stars & Stripes.”
A faded 3’ X 5’ American flag was replaced at VFW 2598 in Cleveland, Tennessee. The flag presented was flown over Memorial Continental Hall in Washington, D.C. in honor of VFW 2598.
Ocoee Chapter and other adjacent chapters re-enacted the Edenton Tea Party for the 250th anniversary. The community event took place at Broad Street UMC in Cleveland, Tennessee.

Ocoee Chapter members decorated a Christmas tree at Tenn State Veterans Home in Cleveland, TN with the assistance of Vietnam Vet Deborah Guinn. The tree was decorated in the theme celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the U. S. Navy.
