@OctopusEnergy what have you done to my EV charger. Come back from holidays and it’s not working. You sent me an email after you closed on Friday so I can’t even call you. How am I supposed to charge my car?

I emailed about my faulty smart meter and only got a reply after chasing it 8 days later.
And the reply was that I need to try to fix it myself with remote guidance over the phone, as if standing charges aren't a thing.
A distinct change in tone recently
@OctopusEnergy my EV charger is working one day and not the next again. Being like this for about 3 months. 90% of the time I have to put on Max charge (at full price) to get some charge. Some nights it charges to 40-50% 🤷♂️

Both EDF & E-on offer unlimited smart charging! 👍 & none of the stupid limited 6 hr silly carry on !!!

@IanDBlades@OctopusEnergy@g__j Same… been waiting weeks and weeks for a smart meter fitting so I can pay the lower nighttime rate but not heard anything about it and nobody seems to be helpful… might have to move already

@mikebarnetson@OctopusEnergy@g__j Sadly I’ve had reasons to email octopus quite a bit lately, I’ve never needed to before, but the last 2 emails I sent, I’ve had to send reminders after about a week of not getting a reply. That’s very not like the octopus I know.
@g__j@IanDBlades@OctopusEnergy My concern, and the reason I may now move, is that Octopus want to control the charge session in order to give me their cheap rate
That leaves me 100% reliant on their tech working for my car to be able to do my commute and I can’t take that risk
@g__j@IanDBlades@OctopusEnergy Shame that you cant sort simple issues out. Then get beyond confusing messages from your staff. Say they've sorted a issue then email to say that haven't. Completely useless
