Not to mention that gay/lesbian couples can't get married legally in India, and would find it much harder to adopt children, or be accepted as a family unit
@brian_mac8419@Ranting_Trans These buildings tend to be made of steel + concrete, which is quite sound proof. They are not made of wood like most American apartments. You can certainly hear a lot of your neighbors' sounds in wooden apts but not really in concrete ones unless they are doing heavy construction

@amitvarma 2/2 Hindutva is doing a lot of marketing but nobody on the unifying side is. So there is currently no strong counter message to Hindutva. I wish there was. Maybe we will make it together :)
@amitvarma 1/2 - I agree there is a big disconnect. I think it is very hard to solve but could be possible. Imagine a huge viral marketing campaign that asks people if they would actually throw out their neighbors and friends. Those people you said hi to just yesterday
