Before it became a growing national movement, there were the first 16 schools who simply said—“We’re In”
What began as College Football Mental Health Week, because that was the sport Tyler played @WSUCougarFB became Student Athlete Mental Health Week, because it’s always been about all of our student athletes.
16 schools joined in 2020 and over 600 “ARE IN” this year. The week grew to include marching bands, high school athletes, club teams, all students, coaches, staff, administrators, mental health professionals & communities. An original idea grew through hope, love & the belief that our mind, bodies & souls are connected; our student athletes will be happier people on & off the field if they are taking care of their mental health. We never want to lose another Tyler nor have any family struggle with the loss of your person.
We’ll always be grateful to the schools who believed in the mission from the beginning—& incredibly proud of what this week has become.
Founded by Hilinski’s Hope.
Powered by student-athletes.
Still growing & we’re VERY thankful to partner with @athletesforhope as we work together to share our mission of hope. ❤️❤️❤️

This green square isn't going anywhere. Student-Athlete Mental Health Week starts now! From Oct 3-10 we need your help to keep this post going!
Help us spread awareness because mental health in sport, still doesn't get the visibility it deserves.

"You don’t get rewarded for doing what is required."@inkyjohnson
Greatness is not given to a chosen few. Greatness is given to the few who choose to do 'more than what's required'.
To be great, you have to give great -great sacrifice, great focus, great discipline, great effort.

Trinidad Chambliss, Ole Miss Rebels ⭐️ QB, is this year’s feel-good story, following in the footsteps of Indiana Heisman Trophy 🏆 QB Fernando Mendoza.
Grounded in faith, he explains the powerful impact God has on his life. He also prays with his mom and hugs her before every game.
Will he follow the same trajectory as Mendoza, win the Heisman, and lead the Rebels to a national title?
Opine ⬇️ Even depressed LSU fans are welcome to reply.
