@robertliefeld Creativity just seems to be in the gutter over there. Heroes fighting heroes instead of coming up with interesting or new villains or new creative takes on old ones. We have Spider-Man’s greatest enemy as a friend now? It’s a sad state of affairs.
@ClassicXMen Age of Apocalypse is one of the reasons I just cannot take anyone who says the 90s were a dark time for the X-Books seriously. Generation X is another. So many incredibly awesome books that added to the mythos in important ways.

@ChampagnePuthy This was kind of done already in the 90s
I like the idea. In all honesty, things were pretty good back then. You had like six teams with unique approaches, stories and leaders.
Cyclops - Blue
Storm - Gold
Cable - X-Force
Havok - X-Factor
Sean/Emma - Gen X
Kurt/Kitty - Excalibur
