A clarion call from the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario #RNAO is being answered as we speak, with an announcement that the provincial government intends to invest $1.8 billion dollars over the next four years to address the crisis in primary care #PrimaryCare

The news is being delivered by Health Minister @SylviaJonesMPP and the head of Ontario’s Primary Care Action Team, Dr. @janephilpott during a press conference at Queen’s Park. The funding is intended to connect every Ontarian to a family physician or nurse practitioner #NP working in a primary care team with Registered Nurses #RNs, social workers, and others - without user fees.

Canada is set to launch the controversial ‘𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗣𝗥 𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺’ for caregivers:

👉🏼 Lowest language requirements
👉🏼 Negligible work experience

This is absurd. While those who studied in Canada and hold valid permits face an uncertain future, @MarcMillerVM plans to bring individuals from abroad and grant them PR upon arrival.
