🚨🗣️ Kylian Mbappé on José Mourinho:
“Me and him talked a lot during the World Cup. He called and talked to me a lot.
Every one of us players is happy to have a coach like him, who knows where he's going. I’m excited for this project.”
Commission Chief Executive Reciprocates Courtesy Visit, Reaffirms Regulatory Collaboration & Functional Alignment.
The Chief Executive of the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC), Mrs. Oritsemeyiwa Eyesan, has paid a return courtesy visit to the Authority Chief Executive (ACE), Mallam Rabiu A. Umar, at the Authority’s headquarters in Abuja.
The visit follows the ACE’s earlier visit to the NUPRC shortly after assuming office, underscoring the cordial relationship and mutual support between the two sister agencies.
Discussions during the meeting centred on strengthening collaboration, coordination and synergy between the upstream, midstream and downstream regulatory institutions, with both Chief Executives recognising the importance of a unified regulatory approach in advancing Nigeria’s Oil and Gas industry.
The relationship between the two regulatory leaders has also been reflected in their active support for each other’s initiatives and engagements. Mallam Rabiu A. Umar recently participated in the golf tournament organised by the NUPRC in Warri, as further demonstration of his support for the Commission’s activities and corporate interests.
Similarly, the NUPRC Chief Executive was present at the recently concluded West Africa Refined Fuel Markets Conference organised by the NMDPRA, further highlighting the shared commitment of both agencies to initiatives that promote growth, investment and stability across Nigeria’s petroleum sector and the wider West African market.
The continued engagements between the two institutions reflect a shared understanding that effective regulation requires collaboration across the petroleum value chain. Through sustained synergy, NUPRC and NMDPRA are strengthening institutional coordination and collectively supporting the development of a more efficient, competitive and investment-friendly Nigerian petroleum industry.
In Montreal, Canada, I met with Mr. Constant van Schaik, CEO of SAMCO Aviation Services, and representatives of Airbus as we work to bring our Aircraft Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility at the Victor Attah International Airport into full operation and further strengthen Ibom Air.
Our discussions focused on aircraft maintenance, technical training, technology transfer and building local aviation capacity to create skilled employment opportunities for our people.
We remain committed to expanding Ibom Air, with another brand-new Airbus A220-300 joining the fleet, while positioning Akwa Ibom as a growing aviation hub.
Flame and Smoke Not Success, Refineries Must Be Profitable To Count - Tinubu
The refineries that you mentioned is going to come back to work. We're just building a very firm reset and structural reworking of the economy of it. Ordinary flame and smoke of refinery doesn't mean that it's working until it's profitable and yield the value for which it is built.
I'm not a man who go look back and everything because I've accepted the asset and liability of my predecessors , no matter what has happened in the years past. It's my responsibility now as the president to fix it, make it work for the largest common value of our population, I take responsibility for that, and I'm going to do it.

UPDATE ON MY MAI SUYA: I have now found them. Apparently, someone came to buy N15,000 suya from them. He was their last customer and had bought up all the suya they had left.
When the guy was about to enter his car, armed robbers collected his keys and drove the car away. My mai suya guys were completely unaware of what had happened because, strangely, the guy never even came back to them to say that any such thing had happened.
It wasn’t until they set up the next day to start their business that they were arrested and detained on the allegation that they must have colluded with the armed robbers.
Their phones were sent to the DSS for analysis to check whether there was any communication between them and anybody leading up to the carjacking. There wasn’t.
The good news is that the guys have now been released because, apparently, the car has now been found. Their phones have yet to be returned by the DSS though.
Following their release, they asked the Police whether they could resume at their old spot and the Police advised that they wait until the DSS releases their phones and the matter is fully resolved. They have, therefore, set up temporarily on Bala Sokoto Way. They had lost business for 10 days and were already looking emaciated.
I asked if they needed a lawyer and they said they didn’t think so right now. They were empathetic to the guy that had been robbed of his car and were pleased that it had now been recovered. Thank you to @egi_nupe and @PwettyFeet who offered free legal services should they need them.
Unknown to me, there are neighbours I didn’t even know were on Twitter who have reached out to express their concerns, on the basis that they have been part of our community for years. We all, therefore, agreed that we would raise a little money to help them get back on their feet.
I went to look for the DPO today but he wasn’t there. I’ll go again tomorrow to ask about their phones.
They are out and back to striving to make an honest living. And no, I didn’t buy Suya today. That wasn’t the purpose.
🚨🎙️Jose Mourihno on Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Jr and Kylian Mbappe:
🗣️“They've been very good in training, especially Jude.
Jude kissed me twice today and I honestly don't know why.” (laughs)
“But seriously, I'm extremely happy to have these players in the squad.
The quality is obvious, but what impresses me most is their hunger.”
“Jude brings personality and intelligence, Vini brings unpredictability and Mbappé gives us incredible speed and finishing.”
“When you have players like this, your responsibility as a coach is to create the right structure and give them the freedom to express themselves.”
“I'm excited about what this group can achieve.
But names don't win trophies. We have to work, defend together, suffer together and fight for every game.”
“If we can build the right chemistry, I believe this team can have a very special season.”
