The two sides agreed to jointly strengthen the agenda set out during IICDEM 2026, and to deepen cooperation in the areas of election management and the training of electoral staff.

The matter will be verified by the concerned ERO. As per the Election Commission of India’s instructions, no elector’s name is deleted solely for being unmapped. Any deletion can be made only after due process, including proper service of notice and an opportunity of hearing. If any procedural lapse is found, appropriate corrective action will be taken after inquiry.

A review meeting on the progress of Post-Draft activities under the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR)-2026, covering Notice Generation, Distribution, Hearings and disposal of cases, was conducted by the Deputy Chief Electoral Officer, Odisha in Kendujhar.
