All bitcoin is always held or hoarded by someone - when it "circulates," it atomically leaves one holder to be passed on to another - bitcoin must be continuously demanded as a store of value.
As for the time held, the median BTC is now held longer than two years. This number will continue to go up, real NGU savings tech.
