22 YEARS LATER AND NOBODY HAS ANSWERED FOR WHAT HAPPENED TO DR DAVID KELLY
His name was Dr David Kelly. Most people have forgotten him. They shouldn't.
He was a quiet, mild-mannered scientist who spent his career inspecting weapons facilities around the world.
He knew more about Iraq's arsenal than almost anyone alive.
In 2003, Tony Blair's @InstituteGC government published a dossier claiming Saddam Hussein could deploy chemical weapons within 45 minutes. That claim was used to justify a war.
Kelly knew the intelligence behind it was being exaggerated. He said so, privately, to a @BBCNews journalist.
That one conversation destroyed his life.
The government found out he was the source. Instead of protecting a man who had served his country for decades, they quietly let his name reach the press. He was publicly identified, dragged before two parliamentary committees, and grilled by his own employer.
His wife said he came home a broken man.
On the afternoon of 17 July 2003, he left his house for a walk in the Oxfordshire countryside. He was 59 years old. He never came back.
His body was found the next morning in woodland. A knife beside him. A blister pack of painkillers nearby.
Here is where it gets worse.
Tony Blair personally intervened to replace the normal coroner's inquest with a private inquiry run by Lord Hutton.
The original inquest was suspended before it even properly began. It was never resumed. To this day,
Dr David Kelly is the only person in England and Wales in living memory to have died in unexplained circumstances without receiving a full coroner's inquest.
Lord Hutton concluded suicide. Case closed.
Except eight senior doctors and a former coroner wrote to @thetimes saying the verdict was medically unsafe.
The wound found on Kelly's wrist, a severed ulnar artery, would not cause fatal blood loss in a healthy person.
There were no fingerprints on the knife. The painkillers found were not in a quantity that experts considered lethal.
The government's response, delivered by Attorney General Dominic Grieve in 2011, was essentially: the Hutton Inquiry was good enough, stop asking questions.
Think about that. A man quietly raised concerns about the biggest political deception in modern British history, a war that led to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people. He was publicly exposed, professionally destroyed, and found dead days later and the government personally made sure there would never be a proper independent investigation into how he died.
Tony Blair went on to become a Middle East Peace Envoy. He has a knighthood.
Dr David Kelly got a private inquiry, a rushed verdict, and a sealed post-mortem report that was not released to the public for years.
Nobody was ever held accountable. Not for any of it.
This story should be on the front page every single year. Share it if you think it matters.

France gathered 400 Muslim scholars and beheaded them. In 1917 AD, during the occupation of Chad. In 1852, when France entered the city of Laghouat in Algeria, it killed two-thirds of its population in a single night and burned them alive.
France occupied Algeria for 132 years. In the first 7 years after their arrival, the French eliminated 1 million Muslims, and in the last 7 years before their departure, they eliminated 1.5 million Muslims. The French historian Jacques Gorky estimated that the total number of Muslims killed in Algeria from France's arrival in 1830 to its departure in 1962 was 10 million.
France occupied Tunisia for 75 years, Algeria for 132 years, Morocco for 44 years, and Mauritania for 60 years.
When France entered Egypt during its famous campaign, French soldiers on horseback entered mosques and raped free women in front of their families. They drank wine in the mosques and turned them into stables for their horses.
It is strange to see some people boasting about and defending French civilization, forgetting all its dark history. This is France; remind them of its history.
🔻 When France entered the city of Aghwat (Laghouat) in Algeria in 1852, it burned two-thirds of its inhabitants to death in just one night.
🔻 France conducted 17 nuclear tests in Algeria between 1960 and 1966, resulting in an unknown number of deaths estimated between 27,000 and 100,000 and the effects persist to this day.
🔻 When France left Algeria in 1962, it left behind 11 million landmines more than the total population of Algeria at the time.
🔻 France occupied Algeria for 132 years. In just the first seven years of their occupation, they massacred one million Muslims, and in the last seven years, they martyred another 1.5 million Muslims.
🔻 France is the fourth largest holder of gold reserves in the world, with 2,436 tons of gold stored at the Bank of France, even though France has no active gold mines.
🔻 In contrast, Mali one of the world's largest gold producers with 14 official gold mines has no gold reserves of its own.
🔻 Similarly, the Republic of Congo, which ranks seventh among gold-producing countries, also has no gold reserves in its central bank.
Kesederhanaan bukan tanda kelemahan.
You thought Epstein Island was bad?
Israel built the only military prison in the world designated for children.
Children are subjected to beatings, torture, and rape on a regular basis.
Conviction rates in courts reach 99.7%.
This applies only to non-jewish children.
"South Vietnam requested America for help."
Who created South Vietnam, Daniel?
Tell me. Take your time. Go look it up. I'll wait.
South Vietnam was not a country.
It was a administrative line drawn at the 17th parallel by the 1954 Geneva Accords as a temporary demarcation pending a national reunification election in 1956.
It was never intended to be a permanent border.
It was never intended to be two countries.
Every party at Geneva understood this. The documents say this explicitly.
The United States prevented that election from happening.
Why? Eisenhower wrote it himself, in his own memoir: American intelligence estimated Hồ Chí Minh would win roughly 80 percent of the vote.
So Washington cancelled the election, installed Ngô Đình Diệm, a Catholic mandarin who had spent years living in New Jersey, as the leader of a "country" that had been invented specifically to prevent the Vietnamese people from choosing their own government.
Then that invented country, run by an American-installed leader, "requested American help."
Do you understand what you just said? You used a puppet requesting help from its puppeteer as your moral justification.
That's not sovereignty. That's a ventriloquist act. And you're applauding the dummy for having opinions.
And Hồ Chí Minh "started this war with Chinese communist help"?
Hồ Chí Minh was writing to Woodrow Wilson in 1919, at the Paris Peace Conference, appealing for Vietnamese independence based on Wilson's own Fourteen Points.
Wilson never responded.
The man believed in American ideals before most Americans were willing to apply them to non-white people.
In 1945, when he declared Vietnamese independence, he opened the declaration with direct quotes from the American Declaration of Independence.
He reached out to the United States for support.
The OSS, the precursor to the CIA, had officers working alongside the Việt Minh against the Japanese. They liked Hồ Chí Minh. Their field reports described him as a nationalist first.
But Washington made a choice.
France was a European ally that needed to be kept stable for NATO.
So America funded France's attempt to re-colonize Vietnam.
Eighty percent of the cost of the French Indochina War was paid by U.S. taxpayers.
The CIA was operating in Vietnam before most Americans had ever heard of the place. Edward Lansdale was running psychological operations and building paramilitary networks in the early 1950s.
The Phoenix Program, which systematically tortured and assassinated tens of thousands of Vietnamese civilians, was a CIA operation.
So when you say Hồ Chí Minh started it with outside help, you are describing America's role more accurately than his.
"You should be grateful your enemies were Americans."
This is the single most revealing sentence in your reply. Genuinely. Frame it out and look at it.
You are telling the Vietnamese people to be grateful for how they were destroyed.
Grateful for 3 million dead.
Grateful for Agent Orange that is still producing disabled children in 2026.
Grateful for Mỹ Lai.
Grateful for the bombing of hospitals.
Grateful for the embargo that strangled reconstruction for nineteen years after the war ended.
Because it could have been worse.
This is the logic of the abuser who says "you should be grateful I didn't hit you harder."
No. We are not grateful.
We won.
Gratitude goes in the other direction.
If anyone should be reflecting quietly on how things went, it is not the Vietnamese.
You said "don't start a war with Americans."
We didn't start anything.
We were a colonized people who wanted our country back.
First from the French, who had occupied us for nearly a century.
Then from the Americans, who funded the French, then replaced them when the French lost.
We didn't come to America. America came to us.
We didn't choose this. We chose to survive it.
And we did.
That's not a threat. That's not aggression. That's just history.
History that already happened.
History that ended one way and not the other.
You can look up which way on April 30, 1975.
The Qur’an confirms that Jesus (peace be upon him) has no “people” (qawm).
What remarkable linguistic precision appears in the Book of Allah!
In the stories of the prophets, we find that many prophets addressed their people with the phrase “O my people.”
For example, Noah said:
“We certainly sent Noah to his people, and he said: O my people, worship Allah.”
(Al-A‘raf 7:59)
Hud (peace be upon him) said to his people:
“And to ‘Ad We sent their brother Hud. He said: O my people, worship Allah.”
(Hud 11:50)
Similarly, Salih (peace be upon him) said:
“And to Thamud We sent their brother Salih. He said: O my people, worship Allah.”
(Hud 11:61)
And Lot (peace be upon him):
“And Lot said to his people: Do you commit such immorality as none in the worlds has preceded you in?”
(Al-A‘raf 7:80)
Thus was the case with the prophets.
Moses (peace be upon him) also addressed his people in many verses saying:
“And when Moses said to his people: O my people, you have wronged yourselves…”
(Al-Baqarah 2:54)
He meant the Children of Israel, as we know that Moses was sent to them.
⸻
But what about Jesus, who was also sent to the Children of Israel?
Here the situation is different.
In the Qur’an, there is no verse where the words “Jesus” or “the Messiah” are combined with the word “people.”
Instead, he always addresses them as:
“O Children of Israel.”
For example:
“The Messiah said: O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord.”
(Al-Ma’idah 5:72)
And also:
“And when Jesus, son of Mary, said: O Children of Israel, I am the messenger of Allah to you.”
(As-Saff 61:6)
Throughout the Qur’an, we do not find mention of “the people of Jesus.”
The only verse where Jesus appears with the word “people” is:
“And when the son of Mary was cited as an example, your people turned away from it.”
(Az-Zukhruf 43:57)
But the phrase “your people” here does not refer to the people of Jesus, but to the people of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, because the verse is addressing him.
So it appears that Jesus has no “people.”
What is the reason?
Even when the Qur’an speaks about Mary, the mother of Jesus, it attributes her to her people:
“Then she came to her people carrying him. They said: O Mary, you have certainly done a strange thing.”
(Maryam 19:27)
But Jesus himself is never attributed to any people in the Qur’an.
⸻
Why does Jesus not have a “people” like other messengers?
A person is usually attributed to his father, because the father belongs to a tribe, a people, or a nation.
The child is therefore attributed to the same group.
For example:
•Noah belonged to his father’s people, so he was attributed to them.
•Abraham belonged to his father Azar, so he was attributed to his people.
So we ask:
To whom does Jesus belong?
Naturally, he does not belong to any people because he was born miraculously without a father.
Therefore, it would not be correct for Jesus to say “O my people.”
Instead, he addressed them as:
“O Children of Israel.”
And this is exactly what the Qur’an does.
There is not a single verse that deviates from this pattern.
⸻
If we follow the same logic, we can ask another question:
What about Adam (peace be upon him)?
We know he came without a father or mother; Allah created him from dust.
Does the Qur’an mention the people of Adam?
Certainly not.
Nowhere in the Qur’an do we find the phrase “the people of Adam.”
Instead, the Qur’an speaks of “the Children of Adam.”
This again reflects the precision and eloquence of the Qur’an.
⸻
So all human beings have a “people” except two noble prophets: Adam and Jesus (peace be upon them).
Did the Qur’an overlook this fact?
Certainly not.
The Qur’an explicitly states this truth in the verse:
“Indeed, the example of Jesus to Allah is like that of Adam. He created him from dust; then He said to him, ‘Be,’ and he was.”
(Aal-Imran 3:59)
This is the only verse in the Qur’an where the names of Adam and Jesus appear together.
My coworker got promoted over me.
He was worse at coding. Better at politics.
I wrote better code. Fixed more bugs. Shipped faster.
He talked in meetings. Took credit. Played the game.
He got the promotion. I got "keep up the good work".
That's when I realized: corporate rewards politics, not performance.
Six months later I quit. Started freelancing.
Now I make 3x his salary. No politics. No credit-stealing. Just solving problems and getting paid directly.
The best developers rarely get promoted. They get used.
Companies optimize for compliance and communication. Not competence.
If you're technically great but politically terrible, you'll never win at corporations.
Leave. Build your own thing. Get paid for your actual value.
