@3QuartersImages@BlairCaldwell@Beyonce Back legs are trotting (incorrectly) and front are cantering, the flight path of the back legs just isn’t right/natural. It’s a fantastical sort of visual image, but I can’t appreciate the rest of it because I keep wanting to fix the legs 😂
@3QuartersImages@BlairCaldwell@Beyonce My only question is if the horse is AI, or if they edited various shots together to create the odd gait (obviously she and the saddle are added on in editing)
@BlairCaldwell@Beyonce Congrats!
That said, horse person here, and…. Rather curious to know the process used for the horse part of the image. If there’s a “making of” this image would love to see it. :)
@StellaParton I don’t make it every year but a butternut squash/potato gratin is just so good 😊
And for dessert I make a toffee date cake that is soooooo good
@becky_ganzhorn Husband had a really rough time with the second shingles shot. I might wait a bit after getting those others to start that series.
(Though I can tell you actual shingles is way worse than the shot reaction, so there’s that)
@CrnchyMama@MCPS My son got covid a few weeks ago, and yes, there’s no way to adequately assess risk :(
Schools don’t notify about anything anymore (ask me about our lice experience last year…)
@SarahLiz2006 Yet we can’t totally teach them to handle those situations without actually doing it and taking them. The ever-fun conundrum. Taking them is bound to go badly a time or two but if we don’t do it they never learn, but if it goes badly we’ll be judged for “Not teaching them”
@MemeGOD302@littleapostate You’re right, loyalty is rare, which is why men are so much more likely to leave when their wives get seriously ill than women are to leave their husbands.
@theblackcowgirl @RaisingOneBrow Hey hi!
I’ve been gardening for butterflies and monarchs for years, and am happy to share what I know :)
Most importantly, that there is so much more to supporting butterflies and native ecosystems than monarchs, so it’s not just about planting milkweeds :)
@clhubes@jco871 At some point you have to make peace with being behind. I am perpetually behind and you know what? When I die, I’d rather people laugh about my weedy garden and have my kids remember me relaxed with a good book, because no one gives a eulogy about how clean the house was.
@theblackcowgirl I’ve been on a mission to find my grandmother’s molasses cookie recipe for some years now :) she called them “Peter Pan” cookies and they were more like sticky little cakes.
@Clapmaster420 @Indianataxpros@touchmoonflower Our ecosystem IS our problem, though.
Pretending we are not connected to it, that nature just can go live somewhere else, is the root of so many of our problems. The world around you is not separate from you.
@aprilajoyr It’s certainly not new.
When my dad got remarried, which I was expecting and hoping to be the flower girl for, I found out weeks later the wedding had happened and he said “well there were no kids at the wedding.” That was 30 years ago….
@JFCEventing Your timing is so good in that second video. You can tell he’s thinking hard and allllmost reacting - this is so great to watch even though to a lot of people it probably doesn’t look like anything.
