🚨 HATE CRIME? Racist white man sets cross on fire to symbolize the KKK in Chicago’s Grant Park and flees the scene

A burning cross — the classic symbol of racial terror was constructed and lit in Grant Park. Police released surveillance video of a person seen running away from the flames.

No one was hurt and damage was minimal, but the intent was clear. City leaders and a South Side church are now offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.

This isn’t random vandalism. It’s a direct message of hate meant to intimidate Black people in the middle of downtown Chicago.

How many more times will racists use this symbol of terror in public before it’s treated like the hate crime it is?
