@TripleDigitSP@lokationnation@AVCoachSmith "According to this view, after observing a long run of red on the roulette wheel, for example, most people erroneously believe that black will result in a more representative sequence than the occurrence of an additional red."
@TripleDigitSP@lokationnation@AVCoachSmith Because its built into your brain, and my brain. It's called Gambler's Fallacy, "people evaluate the probability of a certain event by assessing how similar it is to events they have experienced before, and how similar the events surrounding those two processes are."
@TripleDigitSP@lokationnation You'd think it would follow the same pattern as when replay was expanded in 2014, yes? Then ejections will go up, and with a direct correlation to the technology.
@TripleDigitSP@lokationnation Actually by rule it's a strike if it passes through the zone over the plate, meaning, we're actually viewing it in 3D while y'all are fighting over 2D philosophies to measure things by.
What do coaches/players say to umpires? In this vid @BrianRHertzog follows up on a question Ernie Johnson & Jeff Francoeur were pondering during the #Dodgers/#Nationals#NLDS Game 5... what were the #umpires talking about w/ Mgr Dave Martinez? #nldsgame5

@KCHSBall@lokationnation@AVCoachSmith 185 in 2013 to 199 in 2014 with expanded replay, then to 207 in 2015. The #2 reason for being ejected (#1 has always remained balls/strikes) was arguing a call AFTER it had gone to replay.
@KCHSBall@lokationnation@AVCoachSmith The same thing will happen with the robo zone as it did with replay... ejections will go up DUE TO arguing the most accurate calls on the field!
@KCHSBall@AVCoachSmith@lokationnation It sure does increase the entertainment value for us watching everyone complain about a computer that we said wasn't ready for live games!
Manfred has even stated that human umpires are more accurate than the computer at this point in time.
@UmpireAuditor@JimVaughn_@lokationnation@MLB@UmpireAuditor this is one of the pitches your numbers are counting as a 'miss' in the raw pitch data if an umpire calls it a ball. This is why you don't understand the numbers you're looking at. If you want the rules enforced how they're written though...
