SC is right , walking on a proper footpath should be a basic right.
But let’s be honest, how many cities actually make this happen? Even when they build footpaths, they r mostly filled with parked bikes, scooters and street vendors. You end up walking on the road dodging traffic.
What’s the point of building them if no one clears the encroachments? Time to actually enforce this instead of just making judgments. Pedestrians deserve better.
