Better evidence: one classified SSH authorization removed, the file changed from four lines to three, hashes recorded, rollback retained, and access retested.

Bounded claims are stronger claims.

A firewall rule can reduce public exposure. It cannot prove a host is hardened.

Processes may still be running, identity may still be weak, and recovery may still be untested.

Name the narrower result you actually proved.

Rotating a leaked credential is only half the job.

Invalidate the old value, install the replacement with least privilege, prove the integration still works, and state which access logs were unavailable.

Containment needs a boundary and a limit.
