It brought great excitement as cycling-fever took hold that summer of 1998. France had won the World Cup...

..and Ireland was hosting Stage 2 of the 85th Tour De France. It was ultimately won by Marco Pantani of Italy.

Marco wasn't the only winner as we received an award for the window display in our retail store from then-Deputy President Monica Leech of @waterfordcc
